This is a twelve (12) month full-time fixed term position commencing Term 1, 2025 with possible extension.

The Role
West Leederville PS is seeking a dedicated, highly competent and enthusiastic Teacher - Primary - Physical Education to join our team.
The successful applicant should have an excellent understanding of the Health and Physical Education Western Australian Curriculum and a capacity to deliver the content in an engaging manner. The successful applicant will ideally be responsible for the coordination of school sporting events, so effective organisational skills will be highly regarded. A strong understanding of evidence-based teaching practices, such as explicit teaching pedagogies, differentiated instruction, high impact teaching strategies, and the science of learning should underpin their specialist learning area expertise.
We are looking for dedicated educators who are child focused and have high expectations of student achievement and teacher efficacy. The ability to collaborate will be highly regarded, as will the capacity to form professional and positive working relationships with students, staff, parents and the wider community.
