The Role
Parkfield Primary School is seeking a competent, highly dedicated, enthusiastic Physical Education Teacher.
The successful applicant will join in our shared responsibility for the wellbeing and success of all students, from Pre-Primary to Year 6. We are seeking a teacher who is student and relationship focused, with the capacity to provide engaging learning programs displaying a sound knowledge of the WA Curriculum.
The Physical Education teacher will idally possess high level organisation skills in scheduling, planning, and coordinating whole school events. These include Athletics and swimming carnivals, interschool sports, various sporting clinics, swimming lessons and other school programs, activities and excursions.
The school is located in Australind. Australind is a vibrant, modern community which enjoys a wonderful, relaxed lifestyle. It is virtually surrounded by water with the Brunswick and Collie Rivers to the East and South, and the Leschenault Estuary to the West. The proximity to the estuary, rivers and beach enables staff and students to utilise these waterways for field excursions and recreation.

Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position. At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
