Kinross College is a vibrant secondary school catering for students from Kinross, Burns Beach, Mindarie and part of Quinns Rocks, located in the City of Joondalup. Situated in the north-western suburbs on the coastal strip, some 30kms from Perth CBD and 1km from the ocean, its position is advantageous in terms of accessibility. The current student enrolment includes students from Year 7 to 11 with Year 12 intake commencing in 2025. The Role
The short-term priorities/goals of this position are to support the Network Administrator to maintain the Information Technology resources and networks to effectively and efficiently maximise educational and administrative outcomes, whilst ensuring integrity of data is maintained through adequate security strategies. To provide ongoing technical support to staff and identify issues and implement software and system enhancements.
The applicant should have a strong background in ICT with both Mac and PC platforms being an essential part of this role. They should be able to work proactively and autonomously and have the knowledge to identify and resolve software, hardware and network related issues, providing solutions which will ensure suitable outcomes. The ability to liaise confidently with numerous personnel within education and private enterprise is important in this role. A background with ICT in schools and the education arena is highly desirable, as is experience supporting SIS and COMPASS with an understanding of Program Kaartdijin.
