The Role

As the successful applicant you will ideally be flexible, creative, and forward thinking, as well as able to teach Year 7 – 10 Science and/or Year 9 – 10 Mathematics. Ability to teach Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEAM) and/or Design and Technology are also desirable but not essential.

The successful applicant will be able to possess the ability to work in multi-age group classes requiring differentiation and have a sound awareness of how to embed the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework into daily practice. You will engage in professional learning, work professionally with colleagues, and ideally have good communication and interpersonal skills, working as a member of a vibrant and enthusiastic school team.

Mobility appointments for permanent, metropolitan and south west teachers

Eligible permanent teachers who hold a substantive teaching position in a North or South Education Region school, or a South West Education Region school* may elect to undertake this role as a 3-year mobility appointment, with a right of return to their substantive position.  At the cessation of the 3-year mobility appointment, teachers can elect to return to their substantive role, or transfer permanently into this school.
