This is a permanent full-time position commencing Term 1, 2025.

The Role

The successful applicant shall be joining a progressive and enthusiastic team of teachers who are engaged in implementing a whole school gifted and talented approach to the educational programs offered in the school. The successful applicant should ideally extend and challenge our highly able students through in-class and co-curricular activities. Teachers shall also be involved in our Advocacy and Thrive Wellbeing Positive Education program, supporting the social and emotional needs of gifted learners.

As a teacher at Perth Modern School, you should be student and relationship focused, highly motivated, innovative and able to work effectively in a team environment, as well as display an engaging and energetic teaching style. You should ideally reflect and assess the effectiveness of teaching practice, promote an environment of active and positive learning, and provide educational opportunities and activities which enable students to achieve their highest potential.
