Jurien Bay District High School (DHS) is seeking a Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) and English Teacher to join their high-quality regional school.

The Role

The successful applicant will ideally have the professional knowledge, understandings, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant secondary school HASS and English curriculum within the school context. The successful applicant will work as part of a team to enable all students to learn and study at school in a cooperative and positive environment. You will ideally be highly organised and have excellent problem solving and analytical skills. Your well-developed communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to work collaboratively with colleagues to improve instructional practice. As an educator, you would have proven skills in behaviour management, contemporary knowledge, and a proven record of professional engagement. You will ideally have a commitment to inclusive education and a strategic approach in planning for improved student outcomes.
