The Role
North Harrisdale Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, Digital Technologies Specialist Teacher to join their dynamic team. It is expected that you will actively support the development of the school’s culture, vision, values, and strategic direction. As the Digital Technologies Specialist, you ideally will have a thorough understanding of the WA Technologies curriculum, including the information and communication technology (ICT), General Capability, and use the judging standards to effectively assess and report student achievement in Digital Technologies. The successful applicant will ideally plan, teach, and assess challenging and engaging programs, promoting an environment of active and positive learning. You should be highly motivated and committed to embedding Digital Technologies across the curriculum within the school. Our school participates in eSports and, in particular, the Fuse Cup. Prior knowledge and experience with teaching eSports will be highly regarded. Your willingness to take on extra-curricular activities to enhance learning opportunities for students will be highly regarded.

You should work collaboratively to initiate and engage in professional discussions with the Specialist Team and other colleagues to reflect and continually strive to improve your practice. You should contribute to our high-quality teaching and learning environment through continuous professional learning, self-reflection, engaging with current research, and professional development practices. Staff in our school attend weekly meetings for whole school development, planning, data analysis, and professional learning. We also have fun together!
