The Role
The successful applicant should be a conscientious and dedicated Teacher who possess a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. They will ideally be actively involved both within the school and wider community, highly reflective about their teaching practice and committed to evidence-based decision making and differentiation. A capacity and willingness to lead the development and delivery of school programs and priorities. Walliston PS prides itself on our three priorities and our instructional practices on delivering those key attributes that makes a successful child at our school.
The success applicant will ideally have strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to work cooperatively with others to create and maintain a welcoming and vibrant environment for students and families. They should be committed to putting students first in their decision-making and provide purposeful and relevant learning experiences that cater for differentiated student learning needs as outlined in the Western Australian Curriculum. Experience in teaching Middle to Upper Primary students (Years 3 to 6) is highly desirable.
