The Role
Dianella SC is seeking an outstanding Mathematics Teacher to join our dynamic, collaborative, and experienced Mathematics team and be pivotal in the future success of our students.
The successful applicant will ideally be a passionate teacher of Mathematics, with a commitment to high expectations for all students. Applicants should be able to display innovative and inclusive classroom practice, cultivating a safe and supportive learning environment for students of varying ability levels across Year 7 to Year 12 and within partnership with New North Education Initiative (NNEI) schools.
As a Mathematics teacher you should posess the capacity and willingness to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Mathematics subjects. The ability to teach Mathematics Methods will be considered an advantage.
The successful applicant will ideally work to improve student performance in literacy and numeracy, and work with students to provide appropriate intervention and support for improvement. Teachers at Dianella SC are committed to building a positive culture of success where students strive to achieve their personal best.
The applicant should also display a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, in line with Dianella SC whole school pedagogy framework. Applicants should display an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, and the ability to develop and deliver a broad spectrum of secondary Mathematics curriculum, through a wide range of teaching models. The successful applicant should be able to display the ability to differentiate the curriculum in an engaging and relevant manner.
You will ideally possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills that allow you to build and maintain collaborative and respectful partnerships across the college and the wider community.
