The Role
Key responsibilities of the Curriculum Support Officer include providing administrative, reporting and timetabling support to the Principal, Deputy Principals, and teaching staff while managing student and teacher timetables, grids, class structures, and necessary adjustments. This role involves maintaining curriculum-related databases with a focus on ensuring data integrity, as well as extracting and generating reports for assessments such as NAPLAN and OLNA.
The position also entails coordinating the transfer of data to internal and external stakeholders, providing staff with necessary data for both general and course-specific reporting. Responsibilities extend to organising examination logistics, including rosters, venues, supervisors, and accommodating special exam conditions, as well as distributing examination materials.
Additionally, the role oversees the coordination Parent-Teacher Online systems, managing parent-teacher interview bookings and confirmations. Managing the school’s enrolment procedures, including database operations and information provision, is also critical. Suitable applicants will ideally be adept in fostering effective relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, as a key aspect of the role.
High level information and communications technology (ICT) skills, including the ability to use spreadsheets to manipulate data, and demonstrated knowledge, understanding and experience of Integris, SEQTA and Reporting to Parents (RTP) will all be highly regarded. Supporting timetable maintenance within Integris will be a key element of this role.
