Hannans Primary School is an Independent Public school that caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6. It was established in 1992 to cater for the demand of an expanding Kalgoorlie-Boulder community. The Role
We are actively seeking primary teachers with exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a natural ability to communicate effectively and foster genuine relationships with parents, students, and colleagues. As a primary teacher you would promptly establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment, setting high expectations and cultivating a growth mindset, while nurturing students' social and emotional development.
Suitable applicants should possess a strong capacity to plan, present and assess challenging and engaging programs and have a sound understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. Teachers should ideally possess the professional knowledge, practices, and experience to deliver an engaging and relevant curriculum using a positive, student-focused approach and have success working with students across a range of ability levels, including multi-age/split year groups.
