The Role
We are seeking applicants who are confident and excellent Leaders and interested in pursuing a Deputy Principal position in a high functioning school. Part of this role will involve a commitment to plan and engage in leading our large Early Childhood phase of learning, including project management of our Waja Guma 0-4 Early Learning program. The successful applicant will also ideally provide a high level of support and participation in team planning for Early Childhood and curriculum policy and programs and collaborate with members of the school community in building a team environment that supports student learning and wellbeing. Strong knowledge of the National Quality Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework is essential.
Supported by a knowledgeable and dedicated Executive Team, the Deputy Principal role has a very clear focus on developing a highly skilled and excellent workforce in our school. It is a calm and nurturing place to work and grow as a professional leader. Your leadership in further developing our ‘Playfully Explicit’ approach will support Baynton West PS further develop our ECE students to be their best.
