Edney Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated and highly motivated Primary Teacher for Physical Education and Health.

The Role

The successful applicant will ideally be highly organised with outstanding communication skills and have a passion for physical activity. You should possess knowledge and competencies in the Physical and Health Education component of the Western Australian Curriculum and reporting schedule. This role includes teaching students from Kindergarten to Year 6 and working collaboratively with staff to provide an effective program.

We are seeking someone who can build a strong, engaging and hands on learning program in physical education and build sustainable links with the local community. The role may include possible health teaching including protective behaviours.

The successful applicant should be ideally supportive and collaborative with staff and who will go the extra mile.  We have great students who have an innate desire to achieve, especially in sporting endeavours. You should be able to build effective relationships, have strong behaviour management with high expectations, provide engaging and innovative practices and be a team player.
