The Role

Dianella SC is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teacher who possesses specialist skills.

The successful applicant will ideally be a passionate teacher of HASS, with a commitment to high expectations for all students. Applicants should display innovative and inclusive classroom practice, cultivating a safe and supportive learning environment for students of varying ability levels across Year 7 to Year 12. Teachers at Dianella SC are committed to building a positive culture of success where students strive to achieve their personal best. Proven ability, experience, and success to teach English is considered desirable but not essential.

The applicant should also display a commitment to excellence in teaching and learning, in line with Dianella SC whole school pedagogy framework. Applicants should be able to display an excellent knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum, and the ability to develop and deliver a broad spectrum of secondary HASS curriculum, through a wide range of teaching models. The successful applicant possess the ability to differentiate the curriculum in an engaging and relevant manner.

You will ideally possess excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills that allow you to build and maintain collaborative and respectful partnerships across the college and the wider community.
