The Role

As the Assistant Gardener - Handyperson you will work to provide gardening, grounds, and facility management to ensure a safe and clean school environment. You will maintain and present the school grounds and gardens in an attractive, clean, and tidy condition and provide a suitable growing environment for both soft and hard landscaping, including turf management, marks sports areas and reticulation. The successful applicant will perform minor repairs and maintenance as requested, as well as other Gardener - Handyperson duties in accordance with the department’s policies and guidelines and under guidance of the Senior Gardener.

We are seeking someone to maintain and enhance our school grounds for the benefit of our students, staff, and community. Ideally, the successful applicant will ideally be focussed driven, enjoy working in an educational setting and able to maintain safe and secure work practices. We are seeking an individual who is a keen gardener, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
