We are seeking to establish a pool of K-6 Teachers for the below Mallee Primary Schools all located within 100 kilometres of Esperance. We are looking to fill permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year and up to the end of Term 2, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Teachers in the Mallee schools are actively engaged in the Quality Teaching Strategy and utilise Teaching for Impact to build effective teaching practice that is grounded in evidence to support school improvement, student achievement and engagement. Working in the Mallee requires the ability to effectively communicate with all members of the school community. Not only will you work in a small community but you will be a part of an active network of teachers who work collaboratively across the Network to plan and implement common whole school programs in Literacy, Numeracy, Social Emotional learning including the Phonics Initiative and implementation of National Quality Standard in early years classrooms.  We engage in common data platforms such as Elastik and Brightpath and  ultise the Aboriginal Cultural Standards Framework to support cultural understanding. The ability to be adaptable and flexible and teach in multi-aged classroom settings is required. Teachers will plan and engage in collaborative activities across the Network of schools to support the academic and social engagement of students.

Cascade Primary School

Cascade Primary School is located 100 kilometres North West of Esperance set amongst beautiful Gum and Mallee bushland. The climate throughout the year is mild to moderate and generally comfortable. Our enrolments generally fluctuate between 20 and 30 students, so we have lots of space for individualised teaching programs. In 2025, we will have 25 students enrolled from K – 6 with a 3 classroom structure, allowing strong individualised learning opportunities a reality. We seek flexible teachers, who care about their role as an educator and build strong relationships within our school community.

Condingup Primary School

The school is centrally located within the town in an attractive garden setting. It currently has 54 students enrolled from K-6. The school is well resourced and has a friendly and dedicated community committed to the school.
