We are seeking to establish a pool of primary teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2025 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Nollamara Primary School (PS) is located approximately seven kilometres north of the Perth Central Business District in Western Australia and is part of the North Metropolitan Education Region. The school was built in 1956 and introduced an Intensive English Centre (IEC) in 2005. Nollamara Primary School is a Level 4 school with a student enrolment of around 440 students and caters for children from Kindergarten to Year 6.
Nollamara staff provide a safe, supportive and consistent learning environment for students by embracing evidence-based pedagogies across teaching and behaviour management. With Positive Behaviour Support as a school-wide strategy our students are explicitly taught our REACH goals of Respect; Excellence; Acceptance; Compassion and Honesty. All staff are provided with regular professional development and coaching in Explicit Direct Instruction to ensure high standards in the delivery of literacy and numeracy programs.

The Role
The successful applicants for the pool will be experienced, enthusiastic and passionate educators with a demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching and learning. A high knowledge of EDI is essential. With 80% EALD in our student population, applicants will be familiar with evidence based pedagogies in this area. The successful applicants would have strong interpersonal skills and be able to quickly establish a positive and welcoming classroom environment with high expectations, clear structures and routines, and a focus on maximising student outcomes across academic, emotional and social domains.
Teachers at Nollamara PS are required to be highly reflective and collaborative. They are also highly motivated, hold themselves accountable to delivering best practice, and can work in an environment characterised by whole-school connected practice, collaborative team structures, and a strong commitment to professional growth. Teachers are required to support students with a range of additional needs with a high understanding of Trauma Informed Practice and the implementation of school wide Positive Behaviour Support.
