Our program is unique in that it is centrally based in the school and students have opportunities to access learning experiences across the school.

The Role
Belmont CC is seeking to employ an enthusiastic, highly motivated, positive, and knowledgeable Teacher - Education Support
We are seeking to employ a dedicated, relationship-focused, and highly effective Teacher – Education Support with expertise supporting students with learning support needs. The successful applicant will ideally possess excellent interpersonal skills and will enjoy leading a collaborative and connected team who are united by a strong shared vision to achieve successful outcomes for every student in our care.
The Teacher – Education Support of Inclusion will work collaboratively with the School Leadership team to provide a positive and inclusive educational environment that provides support for individual students with complex learning needs within our IE Hub. They will work in collaboration with Teachers and Education Assistants to ensure teaching and learning adjustments for students with disabilities and learning difficulties are implemented across the curriculum to meet individual student needs. They will have a hands-on role in supporting teachers to develop and implement curriculum.
A high level of interpersonal skills and drive, with the ability to establish and maintain networks, both internally and externally, will be highly regarded. The successful applicant should have the ability to foster positive relationships with all key stakeholders and to provide timely and appropriate support to students, staff, and families, using a case management model. They should possess exceptional organisational skills, including the ability to manage time effectively, prioritise, keep accurate records and the ability to analyse data to inform planning and practice that improves outcomes for students.
The ideal candidate for this position should possess knowledge and skills in some or all of the areas below:
- Contemporary, evidence-based practices related to various learning disabilities and learning difficulties.
- Development and review of Individual Education Plans.
- Leadership and support of teachers (and EAs) working with identified students that require differentiated educational delivery, behaviour support and management.
- Liaison with Student Services and external agencies to ensure comprehensive planning and support for students with identified learning needs.
- Applying for and reviewing the schools Disability Resourcing applications.
- Managing and ensuring compliance with National Consistent Collection of Data (NCCD).
- Compliance with schools’ data recording requirements and processes.
