The Role

We are seeking a teacher specialising in teaching Design, Materials Design and Technology – Wood Years 7-12, Building and Construction Years 11 and 12, Food Science and Technology Years 7-12 and Children, Family and the Community Years 11 and 12. It would also be advantageous to hold a current Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment.

The successful applicant will ideally be highly motivated, student focused and able to provide relevant and meaningful Technologies experiences. We encourage the use of innovative and creative teaching strategies, incorporating the ability to differentiate the curriculum according to the student’s needs.

The applicant should be able to work collaboratively with other staff to improve their practice through peer observation, performance management and Professional Learning Communities. We are a Positive Behaviour Support School, and the successful applicant will ideally have strong teaching and classroom skills.
