The Role
The Student Services team is an integral element of our school community and plays a vital role in promoting and driving our school expectations. To be successful in this role, you should possess essential leadership attributes of openness, capacity for learning, trustworthiness, resilience, interpersonal acumen, self-awareness, and drive to excel. These qualities are crucial, and the successful candidate should demonstrate how they will use these skills to assist us in achieving our goals. It is expected that the candidate will possess expertise in Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS), Case Management, Restorative Practice, and Conflict Resolution, and developing and implementing documented plans.
In this role, you will:
- Lead and managing a diverse team, with a strong emphasis on capacity building.
- Promote, drive, and operationalise the school's vision.
- Collect and analyse data to drive planning for effective student support services, inclusion, differentiation, and social-emotional well-being.
- Implement a focused strategy for introducing, implementing, and supervising Tier 1 practices across the school.
- Develop plans for Tier 2 and 3 interventions tailored to highly vulnerable students with complex needs.
- Coordinate a case management approach to support students and ensure the timely execution of plans in response to complex needs.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders and support systems.
- Utilize your knowledge of inclusive practices to support diverse student needs, including identification, planning, monitoring, and guidance for teachers.
- Support teachers in implementing strategies that foster student engagement, motivation, and academic achievement.
