Ellen Stirling Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Kindergarten to Year 6 (K-6) Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2024 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2025. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.
Ellen Stirling PS is an Independent Public School providing a balanced approach to quality, evidence based, explicit instruction teaching and intentional play for the children in the Coolamon and some Aveley areas of Ellenbrook. We cater for students in K-6. We encourage our students to see themselves as learners and set individual learning goals. The Role
Suitable applicants will ideally embrace our School Plan to implement whole school evidence-based teaching practices. They should have the capacity to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as a willingness to continuously grow their pedagogical skills. Substantiated experience with the science of learning, science of reading, explicit teaching strategies, TAPPLE, engagement norms, and daily review will be highly regarded.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Specialist areas such as Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts and STEM). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
