
This is a permanent part-time (0.76FTE) position commencing Term 3, 2024
Our school is well maintained and resourced. Occupying the entire site, children have plenty of space to play and participate in many sporting activities. The classrooms are configured in blocks, all with wet areas, staff preparation facilities, as well as teaching areas. A library, art/science room, performing arts room and an undercover area for assemblies and special events, complete the school.

The Role
In this role you will ideally have good attention to detail and be able to work well both individually and as part of a team to ensure a clean and safe school environment. You should be organised, reliable and punctual. An excellent knowledge of cleaning equipment and safe cleaning procedures, methods and practices will be desirable.
The successful applicant will carry out internal cleaning duties, including the maintenance of carpets and hard floor surfaces, toilet cleaning, furniture and fittings, window cleaning, dusting, and rubbish removal. You will perform external cleaning duties, including the cleaning of verandas and covered areas, rubbish removal, cleaning of drinking troughs, window cleaning, and removal of cobwebs. You will complete vacation cleaning duties, including the stripping and sealing of vinyl floors, window cleaning, shampooing of carpets, pressure cleaning of verandas and undercover areas and other such duties as required by the Cleaner-in-Charge.
