The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally be passionate, motivated and skilled educators who are committed to improving Literacy and Numeracy outcomes for every child, focusing on their Social and Emotional Learning every day, through our whole school approaches, explicit teaching and instructional strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally be student centred, and team focused, possessing the ability to build strong professional relationships with students, colleagues, parents and carers. You will ideally possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills and the ability to work in a highly collaborative manner.

Our school is seeking teachers whose focus is on optimising learning though a strong reflective, collaborative practice guided by student results and importantly aligned to our 'Agreed Approach' and 2023-2027 Business Plan. Professional Learning Communities are embedded throughout the school, with all staff engaged and contributing to fortnightly meetings guided by Action Learning Models.

Suitable applicants will ideally use exemplary evidence-based teaching practices that result in high levels of engagement, achievement and progress for all students. Teachers who can differentiate the curriculum through ‘best practice’ lesson design and innovative and flexible program delivery are encouraged to apply.

Donnybrook DHS services the communities of Donnybrook, Kirup and Balingup.
