While we honour our rich history, we are dedicated to pioneering contemporary approaches to teaching and learning that drive meaningful impact.
In partnership with the Principal and the leadership team, the Deputy Principal will play a pivotal role in shaping the educational landscape of our school and the wider community. Your leadership will be instrumental in developing and championing the school's vision and enhancing workforce effectiveness. To excel in this role, you should be a passionate educator, dedicated to transforming the lives of young learners. We are seeking a leader with strong decision-making capabilities and the courage to implement innovative solutions. Your proven track record in guiding staff through curriculum planning, implementation, and impact analysis will be desirable. Furthermore, your expertise in change management and school improvement will be crucial as you lead and inspire.
Key Focus Areas:

Your role will be crucial in driving initiatives that close the achievement gap and foster an inclusive learning environment.
Community and Inclusion: Cooloongup PS is proud of its diverse and inclusive community. We encourage all students to thrive, supported by our dedicated on-site Specialised Learning Program (SLP) Autism. This program, delivered by a team of highly trained professionals, provides tailored support and opportunities for integration within mainstream classrooms.
Commitment to Excellence: Our school’s success is underpinned by the unwavering commitment of our staff, students, parents, and leadership team to continuous improvement in teaching, learning, and student wellbeing. The implementation of the 'Cooloongup CODE' is central to our vision, and as Deputy Principal, you will take ownership of its successful integration. Your ability to lead with integrity and inspire a shared vision will be important in driving our school forward.
