This is a permanent part-time (0.8FTE) position commencing in July 2024

 Narrogin Residential College is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Manager Corporate Services (MCS) to join their team.

The MCS supports the College Manager in administrative, financial and some human resource aspects of the college business operations as well as assisting in the supervision of Ancillary Staff.

The MCS role is a dynamic, one that can at times be challenging, the role requires good organisational skills, an understanding of financial management systems (having experience with RM Billing/RM Finance would be advantageous) Human resources, budgeting, and asset management.

You will have good communication and problem-solving skills and assist in the promotion of the college, developing networks and relationships with external stakeholders, and be able to work independently and as part of a team to promote a positive college image.

As the successful applicant you will maintain college databases, information and record systems, including student registration and enrolment, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and Department policies and guidelines and be able to prioritise within your areas of responsibility. You will provide reports and returns for state and commonwealth agencies, as required, and maintain and provide data reporting as required for central office.

Eligibility and Training Requirements

Employees will be required to:

  • provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
  • complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement
  • complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within six months of appointment and every three years thereafter.
  • complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement
  • complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
  • consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit prior to commencement of employment
  • obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check if required

The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
