Are you a culinary maestro looking for your next adventure? Look no further! We are seeking passionate and talented Chefs of all levels and experience to join our team and bring culinary magic to the table on a casual basis.
As a Chef at the Albany Entertainment Centre, you'll play a pivotal role in delivering superior food services across our diverse range of offerings, including functions, the View restaurant, and special events. Your primary focus will be on maintaining high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction while ensuring efficient kitchen operations.
Maintaining impeccable standards of food service and maximising staff cooperation and productivity is a key aspect of this position as well a strong knowledge on safety protocols, food safe practices, and storage procedures. The implementation of rigorous stock rotation will also be a key aspect of the position and you will bring the knowledge and expertise to ensure that safe food hygiene is always adhered to.
To be considered for this position, you will also be required to possess or obtain the following:
- Completion of relevant apprenticeship of trade cook certificate
- Foodsafe accreditation
Please note: this position works across a 7-day working week and weekend/after normal business hours may be needed. School friendly hours are also considered due to regular midday lunch services.
Due to this being an open pool process for 6 months, applications will be ongoingly assessed every 2-4 weeks until advert closure. Successful applicants may be contacted for opportunities for up to 6 months after advert closure.

Conditions
A current Satisfactory National Police Clearance (within 6 months) will be required prior to commencing employment.
