Appointment Pool
Cassia Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2023 school year and up to the end of Term 4, 2024. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2023 school year, up to the end of Term 4, 2024.

About the role
We are seeking a teacher who are committed to delivering a caring, supportive, and safe school environment in which all students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. The ideal candidates will have outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to communicate effectively and build genuine relationships with parents, students, and staff members.

They will have a deep understanding of how to differentiate to meet the needs of all students and be able to use a variety of assessment tools to inform progress, enable constructive feedback, and drive future planning at a classroom level.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement.
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement.
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
