Bunbury Senior High School (SHS) is seeking an energetic and passionate Health and Physical Education Teacher to join their high performing team environment.
The successful applicant will be innovative and enthusiastic in the promotion of Health and Physical Education within the school. This includes the Bunbury Elite Sports Training (BEST) program, a high-profile specialist program within the community that has enjoyed considerable success by supporting elite adolescent athletes to achieve at the highest level. We are seeking a highly skilled, committed, and versatile teacher to value-add to the BEST Program and the Health and Physical Education team.
The successful applicant will be well organised, committed to self-improvement and be motivated towards developing positive relationships and high expectations for all students. They will have knowledge and experience in the Health and Physical Education component of the Western Australian Curriculum. Health and Physical Education teachers are required to support the school’s interschool sporting endeavours and contribute to the improvement of the wider school community.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
