Shenton College is seeking a highly motivated and professional Administration Support Coordinator to join their friendly team.
The successful applicant will provide administrative support to the Principal and teaching staff, involving student and teacher timetables, grids, class structures and adjustments. The successful applicant will ideally have excellent organisational skills and the ability to provide high level administrative support to a range of stakeholders, including the ability to manipulate data and generate relevant reports.
As the Administration Support Coordinator, you will assist the executive team to lead operational enhancement and strategic planning to ensure the schools teaching resources are allocated in an efficient manner. You will ideally have sound conceptual, analytical, and problem solving skills, with the ability to identify patterns, process improvements, problems, and solutions.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate the following work related requirements (selection criteria):
- Ability to provide effective administrative support and input into the development, implementation and monitoring of business systems.
- Well developed project management skills with the ability to develop, implement and evaluate health and wellbeing programs.
- Sound research, conceptual and analytical skills with the ability to provide innovative thinking in problem solving.
- Well developed interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with staff at all levels and in emergency situations.
- Well developed computer application skills, including a working knowledge of word processing and development and maintenance of databases and spreadsheets.

ELIGIBILITY AND TRAINING REQUIREMENTS
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy.
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check
- complete the Department’s induction program within 3 months of commencement
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy
- complete the Department’s training in Accountable and Ethical Decision-Making within 6 months of appointment
- complete the Department’s Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural awareness online course within 3 months of commencement.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
