Jandakot Primary School (PS) is seeking a committed and engaging Primary Teacher to join their team.
The successful applicant should be committed to a whole school philosophy as well as being a team player who is committed to building positive and professional relationships with all staff, not just those in their neighbouring classrooms.
We are looking for a dynamic teacher who uses a range of contemporary strategies to deliver the WA Curriculum and address the Business Plan. Applicants who believe in enhancing student learning opportunities through integrated digital technology are highly desirable. The successful applicant should have the confidence to innovate and be willing and able to move across year levels and learning phases, over time.
The ability to differentiate the curriculum for all students on a daily basis and the ability to use data to inform and monitor classroom practice is highly desirable. At Jandakot PS we are seeking teachers who are committed educators, connected to current research, philosophy and practice.
The successful applicant should be flexible, a team player and possess exceptional lesson delivery strategies. They should be committed to putting students first in decision-making and undertake the hard work that is inherent in adhering to a whole school approach.
They will ideally deliver motivating and quality educational programs and believe that exemplary, evidence-based teaching practices lead to successful students and high standards of achievement. Good knowledge of digital technologies and how to apply this to student learning is desirable.
Jandakot’s PS motto is to Fly High, Seek Success. To achieve this, we are committed to developing our best through individual challenge, by way of a whole-school approach and differentiated curriculum. We are student-centred and focus on teaching and learning.
