Carnarvon Community College (CC) is seeking an English Teacher to join their high quality regional school.

Teachers and school administrators employed at Carnarvon Community College in 2023 are eligible to receive an Attraction and Retention Incentive of $10,000 (pa, gross – to be adjusted pro rata for FTE and tenure). Eligible staff will receive a percentage of this payment on commencement at the school, with the remainder paid at the end of the school year. Staff must remain employed in the location until the end of the school year to be eligible to receive the second payment.
The ARI payment is in addition to other incentives that may apply in this school.
About the role
The successful applicant would ideally possess sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum; be able to deliver content in an engaging manner; have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be a highly effective team member. The successful applicant will need to be part of a supportive team working with students in farm and residential environment and may be required to teach other learning areas as required to same level of students. The successful applicant would ideally be willing to work with students who have a designated pathway in farming, trades in engineering and automotive.
