We are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2023 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2023 school year.
Our school is seeking dedicated teachers who are child focused and have high expectations of student achievement. Suitable applicants will ideally have a strong knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and be skilled in effectively differentiating the curriculum to cater for Kindergarten to Year 6 students.
You will ideally be motivated and committed to creating an engaging, inclusive, and challenging learning environment; based on high accountability and sound expectations to ensure all students are achieving their maximum potential. Applicants that possess an interpersonal skill set that enables them to build strong and valuable relationships with students, staff, and parents, and commit to ongoing professional growth by embracing new, evidence-based teaching and learning practices that lead to teacher improvement and superior student outcomes will also be highly regarded.
Suitable applicants will ideally have experience in key school programs and initiates including iSTAR Model of Connected Practice, Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Seven Steps for Writing Success, Letters & Sounds (PP-2), Soundwaves (3-6) and Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS).

Employees will be required to:

- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
