The Ideal Teacher
The successful applicant will work as part of a dedicated team and have the opportunity to make a lasting contribution to the school community. You will ideally be flexible, creative, and forward thinking, and exhibit your passion for the Arts. The successful applicant should be innovative, knowledgeable and possess a thorough understanding of instructional and curriculum expertise and the ability to develop innovative classroom practices to provide integrated, personalised, and authentic learning experiences for students. The ability to teach Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) Arts is desirable.
The successful applicant should be a passionate teacher of the Arts with a commitment to excellence. You should use a range of pedagogies and have the ability to establish and maintain a positive classroom learning environment. You should also be flexible and adaptive and be able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching. You will ideally also be able to incorporate current and emerging technologies to best meet the needs of our students based on researched informed practice.
