Denmark Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2023 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2023 school year.

Suitable applicants will ideally possess the skills to use the assess, plan, teach cycle effectively to drive their practice and differentiate the curriculum to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities. Suitable applicants should also ideally have the interpersonal skills to develop effective relationships with students, staff and community members.
We are particularly seeking individuals that reflect on their practice and continually strive to improve. Teachers who have qualifications and or a particular strength for teaching mathematics and or digital technologies will be highly regarded.
Our teaching is based on explicit teaching using whole school evidence-based programs. In particular, we are a proud Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) school.Having skills and experience or a willingness to learn about PBS, Letters and Sounds and Talk 4 Writing will be advantageous.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
To be suitable for this role, you will need to demonstrate your competency against the following domains (that govern the Australian Professional Standards for Teachers):
- Professional knowledge;
- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.

Employees will be required to:

Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
