Rockingham Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint a talented and dedicated Teacher – Humanities and Social Sciences.
The successful applicant will ideally be confident in teaching students across Years 7 to 12 with particular focus on providing relevant and engaging courses linking to the Western Australian Humanities and Social Science curriculum. You should possess the professional knowledge, understandings and experience to develop and implement an engaging and relevant secondary school curriculum.
The successful applicant should have a commitment to excellence in teaching and engage in regular self-reflection. Another key attribute will be the ability to create environments conducive to learning and provide educational opportunities that are purposeful and relevant, catering for different student learning needs.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.
