This is a Recruitment Pool for Fixed Term Full Time or Fixed Term Part Time at various hours per fortnight for 5 years, with the possibility of extension(s).

 

The Bunbury Hospital is further increasing its long-term Consultant Physician establishment, as part of service reform. We have several positions available.

The Bunbury Hospital is undergoing significant capital works, including an expected helipad, to meet the increasing demand for high quality clinical services within the SW of WA. We are seeking dynamic Consultant Physicians to join our cohesive Clinical Services team and who will be significantly based in the SW WA region.

Position Profile: An exciting opportunity is available for Consultant Physicians—General Medicine to join a dynamic multidisciplinary team of clinicians providing comprehensive medical services to the patients of South West Health Campus.

 

As the Consultant – Physician - General Medicine, you will undertake direct clinical care of patients within the Geraldton Hospital, especially in acute care and the High Dependency Unit. You will also supervise and teach junior medical staff, evaluate quality of care and outcomes and implement programs to enhance quality. You must be eligible for registration by the Medical Board of Australia, possess Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians or equivalent and demonstrated skills in General Medicine, High Dependency Care and Coronary Care.

 

Bunbury, and the SW of WA are blessed with abundant opportunities for outdoor activities, minimal traffic but still many services.
