Belridge Secondary College (SC) is seeking an outstanding and dedicated teacher of English to join our team.
The successful applicant should be a passionate teacher of English, with a commitment to excellence. They will contribute to the development of English courses of study across the 7-12 curriculum working alongside others to enrich the learning experience for our students. Experience with ATAR English courses and working with disengaged students is desirable.
The successful applicant should have strong pedagogical knowledge of teaching and learning and will implement the colleges RLEARNERS teaching and learning framework into their lessons. They will ideally promote self-reflection and engage in collegial classroom observation practices to support their own growth and that of others.
The successful applicant should show initiative and involvement in the implementation of extracurricular activities to support the learning of all students and play an active role in whole school life. They should also display strong interpersonal skills. They should be able to work as part of a team and display high levels of professional conduct, communication and integrity.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.
