Appointment Pool
Albany Senior High School (SHS) is an Independent Public School seeking to establish a pool of English Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.

About the role
Albany SHS is seeking highly reflective English teachers who will promote an environment of active and positive learning where success is celebrated. Albany SHS provides educational opportunities using a range of pedagogies which enable students to achieve to their very best. Suitable applicants will ideally possess a capacity to deliver a curriculum which is not only engaging, but is relevant and meaningful to students. Possessing the skills to differentiate the curriculum to cater for a broad range of abilities, including special needs, is highly desirable. ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
