Appointment Pool

Dalyellup College are seeking to establish a pool of Humanities and Social Sciences (HASS) Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.

The successful applicant should be a passionate educator committed to making a difference in the lives of young people. You will ideally have excellent interpersonal and organisational skills as well as the ability to work effectively as part of an energetic, creative and experienced team.

Suitable applicants should display a commitment to delivering high quality, engaging learning experiences which highlight their deep knowledge of the HASS curriculum. We specifically desire someone with experience and passion for teaching Career and Enterprise as this is a large component of our upper school HASS classes. You should also exhibit an outstanding application of best practice assessment and reporting practices which include a high level of data analysis skills to monitor the progress of students and classes and adjust learning strategies as required.

It would be highly desirable for applicants to have experience in planning and delivering high impact instruction programs for a diverse student population including academically motivated students. With ideally effective interpersonal skills, and a willingness to adopt a ‘restorative’ approach, suitable applicants will work with students, teachers and the community to instil our school values, allowing students to achieve their full potential.

Dalyellup College is the one of the newest secondary facilities in the Bunbury/Capel region. Having developed from the fastest growing and largest primary school in the state and expanding to a Kindergarten to Year 11 college over the past twelve years. The college has developed four pathways for senior school students allowing entry into university, further training, vocational education, employment or apprenticeships and provides a wide variety of courses and options to meet their needs.
