Appointment Pool
Cooloongup Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
Suitable applicants should be motivated, have a growth mindset, and ideally have strong communication and interpersonal skills with a strong focus on the use of Information Technology (IT) both in the classroom and professionally. The suitable applicants to this pool should pursue excellence in classroom teaching and will work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the needs of our students.
Suitable applicants should have a thorough understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum as well as exhibit a proactive and positive approach to student engagement and behaviour. We seek teachers who will inspire students to develop an enthusiasm for learning in vibrant, engaging and supportive classrooms. Suitable applicants will ideally possess the personal attributes to build strong and valuable relationships with students, staff and the school community. They will ideally exhibit proactive strategies to support and improve student behaviour and engagement, to enable positive outcomes in and out of the classroom.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment; and
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check.
- meet the Department of Education Teacher Qualifications and Registration
TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
