Wandina PS opened in 2014 in the suburb of Wandina in Geraldton, 432 kilometres north of Perth. The school currently has approximately 490 students enrolled in Kindergarten to Year 6. Our school motto 'Inspiring Excellence Together' reflects our school values of; Respect, Inclusivity, Lifelong Learning, Collaboration, Creativity, Communication and Critical Thinking. Early intervention in literacy and numeracy is a school wide strategy, to ensure that all of our students are successful in their early years of schooling. Part of our ethos is to support you to be the best teacher you can be, which in turn improves outcomes for our students.
Our teachers know and understand their students, both individually and as a class. They work hard to build respectful, trusting relationships with our families, making our parents partners in their child's education.
