Do you have a flair for media and student education?
Cape Naturaliste College is seeking to establish a pool of creative and inspiring Media Arts Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2022 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2022 school year.
As a Media Teacher, you will be an integral member of the Arts learning area and be responsible for supporting the collaborative approach to curriculum planning, providing learning programs to students suited to the needs of the school community and modelling exemplary teaching and learning strategies. As such, suitable applicants will ideally possess a repertoire of teaching strategies to engage students, ideally having knowledge of and/or experience in a range of instructional strategies and tactics.
Suitable applicants should ideally be dedicated and highly motivated educators with a working knowledge of the Senior School Western Australian Curriculum and be able to deliver content in an engaging manner. As a reflective practitioner, you should ideally possess effective data literacy and a capacity to modify your practice to meet identified student needs.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- Provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- Obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- Obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and
- Hold full, non-practising or provisional registration with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full, non-practising or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. (Applicants who require a Limited Registration to teach from the TRB are not eligible). TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- Complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
