Rossmoyne Senior High School (SHS) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and dynamic Design and Technologies Teacher: Food Technologies to teach a mix of classes to our students across all year levels. The position will primarily include Food Technology, together with some Digital Technologies to support Semester timetable changes within the learning area. It is an exciting time to join our school community as we begin to focus on the development of our next Business Plan.
The successful applicant will have high expectations, a commitment to excellence, use a range of pedagogies and have the ability to establish and maintain a positive classroom-learning environment. They will be a flexible and adaptive teacher, able to apply the strategies of differentiated instruction and explicit teaching in the classroom. Candidates who have experience working with high-performing students, students at Educational Risk and English as an Additional Language/Dialect students will be highly regarded.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.
