Success Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year and up to the end of Term 3, 2022. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year, up to the end of Term 3, 2022.
As a teacher at Success PS you will be committed, professional and a collaborative participant in our inclusive and culturally diverse education community. Success PS is a unique community with significant enrolments of Education Support Students. To be suitable for inclusion in this pool you will have excellent communication skills to work as part of year level, curriculum and whole school teams of teachers to deliver an explicit teaching program. Specifically we require teachers who are committed educators who are abreast of current research, philosophy and practice. Teachers at Success PS possess sound knowledge of First Steps Literacy including guided reading and synthetic phonics (Letters and Sounds) and Numeracy strategies. Also essential is sound classroom management based on restorative practises.
We are focused on creating high performing teams to impact student outcomes. We use DiSC profiling and Patrick Lencion’s model of reference. Opportunities will exist for teachers to lead teams and curriculum areas. We work on distributed leadership and provide opportunities for staff to build capacity as leaders.

Employees will be required to:

- Complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
