East Narrogin Primary School is seeking an organised and experienced teacher to join their team.
The Learning Support Coordinator provides support to students with various learning needs by working collaboratively with staff to plan, develop and implement programs to assist students to access the curriculum.
The successful applicant will be a confident, well organised person capable of demonstrating leadership in this area. A high level of interpersonal skills is desirable as the job entails liaising with school staff, parents, internal and external agencies to achieve appropriate outcomes for our Students at Educational Risk (SAER). A sound working knowledge of Disability Resourcing Support (DRS) and Special Educational Needs (SEN) planning is essential to the role.
We are seeking an applicant who is reliable, organised, flexible and is able to work both independently and collaboratively with colleagues. The capacity to maintain confidentiality is an essential component of the role.

This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.

Eligibility
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check;
- be fully or provisionally registered with the Teacher Registration Board (TRB), or be eligible for full or provisional registration prior to commencement of the position. Training
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
