Appointment Pool

South Kalgoorlie Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of effective, committed and enthusiastic teachers (Kindergarten to Year 6) for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies, which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements up to the end of Term 4, 2021.

Successful applicants will have ideally worked in environments with whole school approaches and collaborative team structures.  The application of effective instructional strategies and incorporation of technology to engage students and challenge learning in a supportive and safe environment is essential.

It would also be highly regarded if suitable applicants have a working knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support (PBS), Classroom Management Strategies (CMS) and 123 Magic with a commitment to implementing a social emotional curriculum. Applicants should display a willingness to try new and innovative ways to engage students through contemporary instructional strategies and learning experiences that maximise the integration of different ICT tools and platforms.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.

Applicants may be appointed to a vacancy based on the qualification being completed via the Leap program.
