Cowaramup Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of innovative and engaging Year 4-6 teachers for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Placements can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
Suitable applicants will exhibit a high level of collaborative practice, together with interpersonal skills to enable effective participation and engagement within the school. We are seeking teachers who are dedicated to improving student learning through whole school programs and are committed to creating supportive and inclusive classrooms. Suitable applicants will be highly motivated, innovative and enthusiastic about teaching and learning and be capable in their use of contemporary digital technologies.
Suitable applicants should also be committed to being involved in reflective teaching practices though peer observations and the use of Positive Behaviour Support where staff teach, model and reinforce positive behaviour.
Cowaramup PS has high quality teaching and support staff that have set high literacy and numeracy standards. Staff want to know their impact and are eager to look at data to ensure that students are progressing. Our school has a strong focus across all learning areas. - Professional knowledge;

- Professional engagement.

ELIGIBILITY
Employees will be required to:
- provide evidence of eligibility to work in Australia for the term of the vacancy;
- obtain a current Department of Education Criminal Record Clearance prior to commencement of employment;
- obtain or hold a current Working with Children Check; and

TRAINING
Employees will be required to:
- complete the Department’s induction program within three months of commencement; and
- complete any training specific to this role required by Departmental policy.
The Department applies a four (4) day breach period to this selection process.
