This is a twelve (12) month fixed term, full-time position commencing Term 1, 2021 with possible extension and/or permanency
Piara Waters Primary School (PS) is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic and contemporary Visual Arts Specialist Teacher who is flexible, works collaboratively and connects with the school community.
The successful applicant will possess strong communication, interpersonal and leadership skills. They will have familiarity of Arts curriculum and pedagogy and translate this to successfully implement a ‘Whole School Visual Arts Program’ from Kindergarten to Year 6. They will collaborate with Classroom Teachers and other Specialist Arts Teachers within the school and across the network to promote the Arts and improve student outcomes.

Piara Waters PS is located approximately 26km south from Perth, with 899 students from Kindergarten to Year 6. We are a contemporary and diverse school with strong values (Contemporary, Community, Collaboration) and are committed to developing dynamic learning programs for students.
This selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy. Applicants assessed as suitable during this selection process may be considered for other similar vacancies that occur throughout our school for up to 12 months following this initial appointment. This includes circumstances where this position becomes subsequently vacant should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised position.

- Professional engagement.
