Huntingdale Primary School (PS) are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for appointments to fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies, with a possibility of permanent appointment which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
The suitable applicants will work in a collaborative environment, have a high level of interpersonal skills, a strong commitment to professional learning and a willingness to share with others. The ability to differentiate the curriculum and utilise instructional strategies to maximize student learning and engagement in their learning is desirable.
A knowledge and implementation of current educational research and practice in literacy and numeracy is an advantage. The ability to use of ICT and Digital Technologies, particularly iPads, as a tool for 21 Century learning and would be beneficial.
The suitable applicants will require knowledge and implementation of best practice in literacy and numeracy and case management for students in need.
Huntingdale PS is a friendly forward thinking non-IPS school that offers staff support and challenges to give students appropriate educational opportunities. The school has a neat blend of staff with extensive experience and a group of more recently graduated teachers. Being the only school in the suburb has resulted in a true sense of 'community' developing within the school and the school as a focal point within the local community.
