O’Connor Primary School (PS) is seeking to establish a pool of Teachers (Kindergarten to Year 6) for appointments to permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2021 school year. Appointments can be made from the pool at any time for commencements within the 2021 school year.
Suitable applicants should be highly motivated, energetic and possess the qualities to promote excellence, build effective teams and implement innovative curriculum. They will be extremely collaborative and work to improve the outcomes of all children in a team environment. They will actively engage in self-refection to improve their practice and engage in observation and feedback practices to develop their understanding of our whole school programs and pedagogy.

Located in one of the state’s most dynamic regional centres, O’Connor Primary educates over 700 students every year. The school site also houses the O'Connor Education Support Centre. Both schools run a very successful integration program that provides many opportunities for inclusion across a broad range of activities.
Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.

- Professional practice; and
- Professional engagement.
